[In the tradition of Aather games, the setting is a stone room with no windows... or doors. There is a simple table with two chairs set with some basic food - meats, cheeses, fruit, etc. There is also a piece of paper on the table with instructions, but it just reads Take this chance how you will.

There is nothing else in the room except for its two inhabitants, who both appear in it suddenly.]

[ he smiles back at him softly as he let's go of his face. There is a flicker of sadness in Barnaby's eyes though, which he quickly attempts to hide by punching Kotetsu in the arm.]

...Supposedly everyone who's here is special, some sort of beacon for the darkness. Right now it's trapped here where we can fight it, but if we weren't pulled here first it could use us to get into other worlds... or something like that.

It is pretty dumb, but I think it's true. Maleficent wouldn't lie to us about it after all that.
